So, I'm hoping some of our more 'connected' members can provide an update on our current raft of injured players.

From memory we have:

Bernardo - no idea
Shane Duffy - Knee injury sustained v Aston Villa - not sure how long out.
Leon Balogun - not sure - long term
Davy Propper - unwell last week
Leandro Trossard - injured on international duty - due back after next international break?
Jose Izquierdo - no idea
Solly March - no idea

I’m probably wrong but i thought Duffy was a calf injury

Bernardo is an important one.

1) Gives the option to put Solly further forward which lessens the impact of not having Trossard.
2) Gives the option of Solly competing for Montoya's place.
3) Gives the option of playing left back in a back 4 if we were to lose one of our 3 senior centre backs to injury

Otherwise we're going to have to play players like Alzate or Burn out of position or possibly promote Baluta

Davy had some sort of strain, he wasn't unwell.

Sorry if fixtures but can someone summarise or point me to a place that summarises our current injuries and when these players might return?

Was Trossard's injury really at Man City which was aggravated when training with Belgium

That's exactly how i viewed it , he came off feeling his inner thigh and iced it up , very strange letting him join up with the Belgium squad unless the urge to play for his country swayed his fitness mentality and basically just hoped it would go away by the time he got there .

Bozza mentioned earlier that should get some details about the current injuries in today's pre-match press conference, which starts about now.

It sounds like you're requesting a post from the boy Timmy.

Trossard due back after International break, so hopefully available for Villa away.

Excellent. We've done half the job of making them think we're shit by playing the kids (who, don't get me wrong, played very well). Part 2 is to have Trossard available.

Is it me or is Bernado's injury very mysterious? I'm probably very wrong but I don't really recall when or how he got it.

I was just about to post the same thing
