Bit late notice I know but at 12.30 but Brighton Women are away at Arsenal today in the Womens Super League, with the match kicking off at 12.30pm and will be shown LIVE on the BBC Red Button.

This will be a tough test for the Albion with Arsenal having won both of their league games so far and having a rich history of success in the Womens game. We've looked quite solid so far this season, and can worry teams on the break so we have a chance of getting at least a point today.

First half embarrassing , so defensive, hardly got out of their half , and kept giving the ball away ,

Who cares. Low quality minority sport watched by 'look at me i celebrate diversity' types. The amount of coverage it generates on the BBC is staggering but I guess the BBC is stuffed full of trendy LGBT types so it kinda makes sense.

See you at the Jeff Norcott show in Brighton next Saturday night, mate.

Just back from the game. First taste of women's football. Albion tried to play Arsenal at their own game by building attacks by passing the ball - they just weren't as good as them at doing it. I just felt we needed a plan B off pumping the ball long and giving Arsenal something different to think about.

Oh well, enjoyable event! Gibbons by far my favourite player - immense and takes no prisoners.

Disappointing to lose by so many, but actually with the poor performance it could've been a lot worse. Too much giving the ball away in our own half, and misplaced passes as we effectively rolled over for Arsenal. Bowman, Brazil and Gibbons the best players for Albion with Gibbons my player of the match as she just never seems to give up!

A very anti-PC comedian, who is also very funny. Check him out on YouTube.

*edit. It’s Geoff not Jeff.

I will and thanks. I take it he doesn't have a slot on the BBC? My fave comedians are Jim Davidson and Mike Read. Not the thing to 'confess' to on NSC but wtf!!!
