Afternoon all.
Seagulls Over London are proud to announce that former Albion manager (x2!) Alan Mullery is joining us tonight for a social evening up in The Smoke.
Alan will forever be regarded as a club legend for having steered us, in 1979, to the top flight for the first time in our history, an achievement that remained unrivalled for decades afterwards until Chris Hughton recently managed to emulate the achievement.
Kicking off at 7pm, Alan will regale us with tales of his Albion past for 45mins or so. Then, after half time refreshments, attendees will be invited to ask him questions for the second 45!
We are meeting (from 6pm onwards) at our newly regular spot as follows:
The Cellar Bar
The Sir Christopher Hatton
4 Leather Lane
(a short walk from Chancery Lane tube station)
There is a guest fee of £5 for non-members (‘pay-on-the-gate’) although if you join up tonight, the whole season’s membership is £10 (well worth it if you are able to attend future meetings this season).
