Excellent my 20 points to Japan is back on, although that looked a much dodgier try? Forward pass in the build up

It will be shame if Russia end up losing this by a wide margin, but they do look absolutely knackered already so I suspect Japan will run away with it now.

Dissapointing nobody bothered to do a sweepstake for the occasion.

Is the pitch synthetic? In retrospect probably not, just in amazing condition

There's still time Crodo. You know it makes sense. Chop chop.

Gurjit is off on long term sick with genital warts, short staffed in the office.

I don't think I've seen an international team so dead on their feet as this Russian one - they look like they can hardly move

They only have a smattering of professionals in fairness - that's why they lost to Jersey (a pro championship side here) and that's why they're simply not as fit as Japan, who are the best tier 2 nation in the world.

So who has seen this plaque? Link to a photo?

Barber, who was speaking to a small group of journalists after addressing the Sport Industry Breakfast Club, added the tourists were particularly moved to see the club had even installed a plaque where Karne Hesketh scored the try to seal the astonishing win in front of 29,000 spectators.

"We have 20-30 Japanese tourists dropping by the ground wanting to visit the place where their team beat the Springboks," said Barber.

If anyone's up at this hour, this early game between Australia & Fiji is looking like a cracker. Fiji already 8 up.

Wow, what a start by Fiji. Australia definitely rattled here 8-0 to Fiji

I am feeling the pain of some of these Fiji tackles, ouch
