Saw a couple of guys at the Southampton game, and one today, wearing initialed training kit wandering about with laptops at half time and full time.

Presume they're data analysts of some sort?

It'll be the American football influence. They have tacticians sat up high watching the play and relay this to the bench for the manager and his assistant's to alter how the team is set up.

Yes, they're analysing the game and sending down stats, suggestions and other stuff to GP and his team. I was told this on the stadium tour not long ago.
