Good video but saying we have reached the end of the evolution in football tactics is like someone saying we've invented everything the world needs. Obviously he's not going to be able to think of the next great tactical shift or he'd be a master manager, not a guy making YouTube videos.

i wanted to dismiss the title as click bait nonsense, but he has a point. there's been little revolution in tactics in the past 2 decades? and tactical innovations are revisiting previous ideas.

I was "Right-half" in a 2-3-5 formation for Rudyard Kipling Primary School in 1966. We only lost one game that season, against fierce local rivals, Woodingdean Primary!

Jim Clark was the best ever . . . So was Lewis Hamilton. . . .evolution. They still potter round the same tracks. The game doesn't change. . . . .the contestants very much do.
