⚽ @LTrossard quit today’s training due to a groin injury. He is out for tomorrow and the @ScotlandNT game #EURO2020 #SMRBEL #SCOBEL

Marvellous. Lucky we have so much back up....

There's no direct replacement. He's already looking like our own version of Hazard.

However, in the formation Potter uses you could probably select any two of Alzate, Gross, Jahanbakhsh, March, Maupay, Connelly, Propper and Mooy to play with Murray as a 9. Fewer if you use Maupay or Connelly through the middle but then you have Muzza to come off the bench. Not ideal maybe but you also have to remember our one competitive win was gained without Trossard (yes, I know, with Locadia and Andone).

EDIT - in fact, the injury I am shiiting myself about us getting the most is.............Martin Montoya. Definitely would not have said that last season

No worries. We've got loads of squad depth in that position.

...

Oh.

Jesus wept. Can you not scroll back a page?

We've got no direct replacement for Trossard. That's because he's a unique player. We've got no direct replacement for Dunk. That's because he's the best CB in the club by a Country Mile. We've no direct replacement for Murray either as he's comfortably the best Premier League Non International Over 35 Striker. However, we have MASSIVE depth in people who can do a job in that position. Not as well as Trossard but then Barca have no direct replacement for Messi, Juve can't replace Renaldo and Real can't find another Hazard.

Sussex but not by the sea
Sake, sake, sake, sake, sake.
Here we go. Now we start to know how ‘big’ clubs feel - if one of ours gets injured on Albion duty that’s one thing BUT like this is sooooo frustrating. **** OFF international football.
