Middle order batsman Roy, Bairstow, Buttler worry me massively if we are batting to save the game. In fact all of our batsman worry me. :lolol:

Starc bowling consistent late 80’s again adds to the question why Archer couldn’t do that.

In all seriousness I’d love to have been in the ECB planning meeting where Old Trafford was actually selected as a venue for a test match in September, the lobster and Chablis must have been excellent that day.

It's up there with selecting Monty Lynch, the fast bowler Malcolm Devon or the possible selection of South African Jimmy Cook to open the batting with Gooch.

We can get Smith out if catches are held and how the f does a spin bowler bowl a no ball, just beyond me.
Hold out for the draw and surprise them and us with a win in the final test should do it.
Overton is crap, Woakes would have been better by a country mile.

What are they saying about this series over there OzMike?

Plenty.

Obviously if fortunes change, and they were to lose it, they'd say very little.

Archer is tired, built up over a period of time.
He was interviewed at Sussex after the World Cup and it was clear he was spent.
This, after a Long winter of t20.
He’s surely also getting his head round going from nobody to world star in about five minutes.
One top of this, the expectation on him by England has been completely unfair.
There’s a danger he could burn out if he’s not managed properly.

Oh great Lyon is on, can’t wait to listen to Tim Paines stupid ‘bowled Gaz’ on constant loop. Turn the stump mic off for the love of god Sky.

Ooops you guys really 48/2 shame :)

Nightwatchman, so more like 48/1.5

Oh, now it's 108/1.5

Pretty decent, might not be enough to beat the cheats but we'll see, eh?
