Nasty enough on the pitch to be an absolute legend at Galatasary

We’re getting rid of 2 strikers who haven’t scored more than 10 goals between them in over a year. Not exactly losing a lot of goals

Whilst I'm no great fan of either, we have now released three of only seven players who scored more than one Premier League goal for us last season, and of the four remaining, two are centre-backs.

What could possibly go wrong with an OAP, a kid who hadn't played Premier League football before this weekend and someone from Brentford?

Can anybody explain why clicking on the tiny arrow in the post below transports you to a 2005 thread that neither of us has posted on??

Bernardo went to spit his gum out and volley it (as you do)
Well actually, no I don't. I suspect you are one of those disgusting people who spit their gum out onto the pavement, making it impossible to remove without specialist equipment.

So lets be honest. No-one saw this coming, Andone and Locadia gone with the season just 4 games old. Must be some soul searching going on at the club bearing in mind the money spent on these guys and the support they have been given. Lot of pressure on Potter and the team now internally at the club and externally from the rest of us, I so hope this works out well. Really need some points from Burnley and Newcastle with 2 tough games to follow that.

So you think Bernardo kicked him because he's not liked in the group? The reports said that he's good mates with Bernado, and it was a joke that went wrong.
On the subject of jokes that went wrong - you know when you're walking behind a mate, and you flick their foot with yours, so it goes into the back of their standing foot? Well 14 years ago I played that little prank on the lovely Mrs T. She promptly went flying. I don't think she's forgiven me yet.

But then it probably didn't help that she was pregnant at the time.

A GREAT exclusive from Bozza.

And, at 16+ pages (and rising) a true long read, taking in thoughts and opinions from across the spectrum.

Who can begrudge paying him £60 a year for a subscription to NSC (£30 if you sign-up before October).

I wonder if journalists of other publications are reading this?

Not a lot of soul searching really I suspect. No magical coaching miracle to be worked. No great shock, to me at least, that it wasn't the previous manager that prevented their progress. Just didn't fit / not good enough. It happens. Move on. A second manager has confirmed they don't rate them. I'll take that as final confirmation.

No more pressure and Potter and the team than has already been there in the top flight.

One thing I will say for Potter, he doesn't **** about, and I like that. If the ones we've loaned out were the cause of unrest, then maybe someone should have had the guts to call it a lot sooner.

Im just really not sure about this, i was fuming with Andone after his red card against Southampton. But to leave us with an OAP, a 19 year old who hasnt played anywhere (bar a brief injured spell at Luton) other than the under 23's and someone with no Premier League experience and one good season at Brentford as our recognised strikers is a bold move.

We've unloaded a big chunk of change from the wage bill haven't we?

Knockaert, Locadia, Andone and Hemed must have been on well over £100k/week between them. Probably nearer £150k/week in fact.
