Joined Inter on a season long loan, Inter paying 25% of his wages or £100k, so Man U subsidising £300k of his wages to play there less than Liverpool pay weekly for Mo Salah.

What's the relevance of Salah's wages (whatever they are)? - he actually plays for the club that pays him.

And NSC thought Locadia and AJ were duff buys. No idea how much they have already spunked on Sanchez but to continue paying £300k a week for a player to play for another club is just mind boggling.

TO show how grotesque and overpaid Sanchez has been, to be paying a player £300k to play for another club whereas Salah possibly the best player in the EPL is 'only' paid £280k to play for Liverpool.

Incredible, Sanchez should be ashamed of his time at Man U.

6 weeks worth of his wages could keep Bury going for the season.

Our game is ****ed.

It's not an exact science, player recruitment is it?

Its nothing to do with what PL clubs pay their players. Bury FC ****ed themselves when their owner put a load of 4th division players on ludicrous contracts of £6k, 7k, 8k a week, at a club that barely draws 5,000 fans through the gate. £9m of unservicable debt ensued.

Who exactly should be paying to keep Bury FC going ?

Yes, Bury overspent, but you have to admit the juxtaposition of Sanchez’s move and Bury’s demise look a bit awkward within 2 days of each other.

We nearly went to the wall as well mate and that wasn’t the fault of Brighton fans, just as this isn’t the fault of Bury fans.

Anyway, I’m sure this is discussed on other threads

Getting people to bite on the obvious inaccurate wage arrangement

Those figures came off the BBC Sports website. I see they have now been amended to suggest they were offered 150k but wanted more. Even if it turns out to be JUST 200k a week United pay it’s still mind boggling, to me anyway
