Still looking good to qualify but we’re on decline at the mo, even before these two defeats.
A few of them have let their standards slip. Briggs has been really disappointing.
We could get it back. And it shows ambition to have brought in the Aussie bowler.

What was he thinking, reverse sweep first ball ? Can’t buy a run in the CC, low on confidence and plays that shot first up !

Mark Butcher just called it right making a comparison with professional batting where you have to accept you will always get out at times. As a team you will always lose games in a T20 campaign.
Calculated risk though , isn’t it Moshe. some of our players aren’t doing as well as they can.
7 catches (mainly lofted shots) and a dreadful decision by Finch isn’t a great innings!
Having returned home after a night at the County Ground, that was ****ing atrocious. Was still getting over the awful shot choice of the first 3 out (Salt, Wright, Carey). That's where the game was lost.
Finch simply is not very good.
Called it when he was walking to the crease, when we need him he rarely delivers.
Very frustrating night, the bowling wasn’t great either, particularly early on....

Sussex have enough about them to still qualify with a home draw. BUT apart from Beer yesterday our bowling lacked discipline and cohesion. Thats where we missed Mills, Archer and Khan who are always thinking about their next 4 or 5 deliveries. Whats the plan etc.
We should have had them for less that 150 but that would have papered over the cracks in tbe batting. Salt sadly always gives a chance in the 1st 2 overs every game. Once past that he generally motors. To then lose wright and carey cheaply was perhaps a one off. Less said about Finch the better today perhaps.
CJ and DW did do a solid job and almost got us home with Evans so there are positives there to be had.
Wonder if Delray will be back soon?

Surely Ben Brown should have played instead of Finch.

I blame the sad demise of Sid the Shark, went totally missing last night. What the hell is going on there, guys?

Poor performance overall - bowling in the second half of their innings was poor, and so many of our batsmen played poor shots. No idea why Finch in particular keeps getting selected.
