Since his court case he has come back as a player with a point to prove and, boy has he proved it. Yes, it was a bit lucky at times but the records will say the England won by One Wicket thanks to an utterly incredible batting performance.

Jack Leach must not be the forgotten man. Stokes had no pressure- he was in the zone.

Leach had to wait for the last ball of each over. Imagine what was going through his head.

I loved that on a par with the Botham/Willis Test, same ground, 38 years ago.

Stokes and Botham, honed out of the same English (and Kiwi) granite.
