Eighth wicket stand now more than the entire Middlesex innings!
We're playing some CC matches in September when Archer will be back - can you imagine the mayhem those two are going to create on worn autumn wickets, particularly with a 10.30 start?
He's one of our own... Elliot Hooper strides to the wicket on debut and hit two fours in his first over.

Again, we've been bailed out by the tailenders. In 11 matches our 1st Inns top scorer has come from the top 5 on only 4 occasions, and one of those was when Beer opened.
