He didn't SIGN the swearing parts but it made him LAUGH.

My youngest loved the stevie sidwell one. Had me in stitches with his "share my wife" line. Had to get him to promise not to sing it at home, he couldn't understand why but kept to it.

How has this been picked up so far? Did it get going at all at Newcastle on Saturday?

Surely the game on Wednesday (if he's in the squad) and particularly Saturday at Chelsea this has a chance of getting going?

He won’t be involved on Wednesday. The laceration he suffered on Saturday has swollen up significantly. To me, that suggests a risk for Saturday as well. Murray also apparently has an ankle injury that may be 2 weeks, so it’s anyones guess now.

Not a great song but I think it’s stuck now. Was sung all the way out the ground and on the train on the way home several hours later.

Was on the same train as some yoof signing it on the way there, I assumed it was a West Ham thing.
I guess, irrespective of the song, it was always going to get the stamp of approval after 98 mins.

In fairness it's more memorable than anything those Scouse chances could have come up with.

In 50 years time I fully expect to see a 9 hour homage to the lads on the train to Southampton, on Disney+.
