Agreed.

Came across really well in a 5Live interview towards the end of last season, and I’m delighted he is now able to call himself a Premier League footballer.

Disgraceful how it was barely mentioned in passing on MOTD. Worth 30 seconds of Lineker/Shearer/Wright time at least - just as relevant and worthy of discussion as the other drivel they spout.

Whether the quote is true or not, he only started 16 out of 46 games for us so was never deemed first choice. That said, good luck to him, especially when they play Villa.
