Dunk has only missed 2 league games in 2 seasons and Duffy 4 (3 for the red card against Palace). It will take a while to tot up enough yellows for a ban, so Webster might not get a chance quite as soon as you suggest unless Potter makes a change.

I can’t believe Potter keeps playing a left winger like Dan Burn as a centre back. His crossing delivery is wasted.

Burn played well for the most part, BUT:
he needlessly went early from the free kick that he headed over the bar and if he had scored, VAR would almost certainly have ruled it out for offside.
he did the same thing before the Trossard goal that WAS ruled out for offside.
He hung back while Duffy and Dunk stepped up for the West Ham goal, keeping Hernandez onside.
He was way out on the right wing and was twice beaten by Manuel Lanzini before Snodgrass went through and almost scored.
So let's not get carried away with the new Paolo Maldini/Franz Beckenbauer comparisons just yet.

Indeed, but those positional things can be easily rectified in training.
As for Lanzini, in my opinion Propper was at fault on both occasions, he needs to learn the Man City art of the niggly foul to break up opposition attacks near the half way line. Unlike Dale Stephens circa 2018/19, who would do them around our area, allowing direct free kicks on goal.

It was almost him against Burnley solo at times today. Fantastic performance, Webster too.
2nd half Webster was excellent. Looks a player.

He’s a jinx! So much bad luck surrounding BDB it’s untrue:
- been offside for two disallowed goals

Just watching Connolly's first goal again. Dan Burn sends in a cross that takes out all four of Tottenham's defenders, then as Connolly gets onto it and puts the rebound away, he casually wanders back up the pitch as if to say 'All part of a day's work.' He's a 6 ft 7 in centre half, playing at left back, taking out a Champions League finalist defence with a pinpoint cross and just strolls off leaving the celebrating for those excitable strikers. Dude!
Dam Burn is the Premier League surprise of the season.
