No comparison Luiz is one of the best in the Premier playing with 3 CBs Lewis is a last ditch defender.
I wouldn't swap Lewis for Luiz, so it's Lewis.

Luiz is a liability and is being sold because he’s fallen out with Lampard. Dunk wouldn’t do that. And you wouldn’t get him for 8 million.

So, one has won the champions league, every league title he’s played for and various other cup competitions. The other plays for Brighton.
If Lewis played for Chelsea and got as many red cards and own goals as he has here, I’m sure the media will brand him as a liability too. David Luiz doesn’t get to play for the big teams as a regular starter without having ability. He’s the better player.

Luiz is clearly a more talented footballer. I doubt he could have played all those games for Brazil, Chelsea and PSG if he couldn't defend. His mistakes are more highly scrutinised, so it gives the impression he is a worse player.

you've spelt "Duffy" wrong there.
Luiz is undoubtedly a brilliant footballer but is not a very good defender. never understood how he ended up playing there, Brazilian standards? if he had started career in UK he'd been in midfield.
