Rockumentary maker DA Pennebaker has died aged 94.
Notable for documenting various iconic live moments in rock music such as Dylan's tour of the UK in 1965 (Don't Look Back), 1967s Monterey rock festival, the precursor to Woodstock (Monterey Pop) and Bowie's farewell Ziggy Stardust concert in 1973 (Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars).

I read about that but I haven't seen it unlike the others I mentioned. Made in 1988. Amazing to think that was 31 years ago and that less time passed between that and the filming of Monterey Pop in 1967 a mere 21 years before.
