I don't know how it works, but I'd like to think we approach more than one target at a time, so if we're priced out with one, or they just choose somewhere else, we're not starting again from scratch. We wouldn't go as far as offering both terms, but there's no harm in making a bid.

At 6ft 4 this fella seems like a different option to Andone and competition for Murray, which in stat world makes him ideal.

I never could see the attraction of Maupay, at any price.

Given you’re sure this is rumour then - how do you know ? If Sky reports we’ve made a bid or the Argus or Marca (all journalists) - would you believe any of them ?
