I thought it would be relevant to start a new thread for today’s games, however MODS feel free to merge the threads

Do what you want fella. It's only a forum

Wasn't there a thread started for this a couple of weeks ago? It would be good to keep it all in one place and just keep adding to it rather than new threads - that seems to work for, for example, the daily naps thread and ........... shudder ............ the Brexit thread.

Edit: found it -

Merge?

Merged the two. The original was only on Under 23s but we've now got Clarke and AK out on loan so I've renamed the thread "The Official Loanee Tracker Thread"

Every championship game is 1-0, there has to be someone somewhere who’s been betting on that for years waiting for it to come in

Knockaert benched? Does their manager realise he needs to be loved and be the centre of attention to perform to his best abilities? Can’t imagine he’s best pleased.

'Twas my thought, too. That, and he'll come on and rip it up... He's Championship Royalty!

Fulham have been poor so far....

Early days, of cause, but going to be tough for Knocky and co if they are second best to 'teams like' t'Barnsley

Fulham should be beating teams like Barnsley!

Goalkeeper Carl Rushworth will be joining Worthing on loan.

There's also young goalkeeper, Carl Rushworth, loaned to Worthing.

Apparently Rushworth has broken a finger and won't be available until the end of August. 2nd-year scholar Roco Rees started and played 66 minutes for Worthing in their pre-season friendly at Whyteleafe yesterday (and so may be a short-term replacement for them until Rushworth is fit).

If you’re not doing anything else this afternoon, Ben White is likely to start for Leeds against Brizzle City at 4:30 on Sky.

Fascinating that, like gods, we’ve readjusted the odds on this match by altering the central defensive scales by taking out Brizz City’s best player and then putting in Leed’s next potential young player of the season.

The things us big clubs do to minnows, eh?

St Pauli lose 3-1 today. Gykores comes on as a very late substitute again. Ostigard not in the squad again, possible injury?

Ben White looking exceptional in a 3-1 win for Leeds this evening.

Matt Clarke’s Derby up next tomorrow night against Huddersfield on sky sports.

No place for Ostigard?

Ostigard not involved tonight. Gyokeres came on in the 91st for a few minutes.

Ostigard is indeed injured. From the St Pauli report of their opening match last Monday (via Chrome translate):-

After the summer break and the intensive, week-long preparation, the boys in Brown finally returned to the league. However, Marc Hornschuh had to bridge the longest waiting time to return to the field: after 681 days and thus almost two years, the 28-year-old celebrated his comeback in a competitive match. For Marvin Knoll moved into central defense, representing the injured Leo Østigård next to Captain Christopher Avevor. From a tactical point of view, head coach Jos Luhukay opted for a 4-1-4-1 system as in the dress rehearsals in the test matches.
