Albion sensibly always have a Plan B when it comes to contracts/signings - obviously this benefits the club either way.

Clarke loan to Derby confirmed. Not sure if this one should really count as an U23 loan as we all thought he was bought for the first team. But he is still 22, which is younger than Walton who we are discussing on here, so may as well I suppose.
