[Technology] We’re the moon landings sexist?

Just watching the documentary on the first moon landing on C4. Seems it’s causing something of a twitter storm and outrage, particularly amongst young people of the sexism of the landing. How there is no feminism talked of and everything is referred to a ‘man’ by Armstrong and the NASA team.

So were the moon landings sexist?

Not sexist but seriously anti-Semitic though - not a single mention of the contribution made by Jewish people working on the project. Disgusting.

Twitter now describing the landing as racist too. Seems millennials rather than being inspired by the landing are appalled by the deplorable sexism and racism as white men rxclusively undertook this project, some calling for the landing to be wiped from history until a truly inclusive landing takes place.

A lot of women were involved in the software which ended up being hard coded. They didnt get much recognition so in that way yes it was. As to sending men, they were the best pilots of the time they didnt have women pilots at that level back then it was a different era you cant judge it by todays standards.

Let's face it, the man behind the American space race was the Nazi war criminal Werner von Braun. It's hardly surprising that no blacks, jews, women or slavs were allowed anywhere near his pure aryan rocketry.

A woman was in charge of the team that calculated the return to earth trajectories for the Apollo program. I am pretty sure that she knew how to use an apostrophe too.

We couldn't do it today with just three places available to fit a white man, black man, an LGBTQ person and a disabled person and another with learning difficulties with space for a wheelchair in the capsule.
