As we aren't very good at the proper form of the game, maybe we will be better at the children's version?

Sussex Sharks squad:

Luke Wright (c), Will Beer, Danny Briggs, Ben Brown (wk), Laurie Evans, Harry Finch, Rashid Khan, Tymal Mills, Delray Rawlins, Ollie Robinson, Phil Salt, Aaron Thomason, Reece Topley, David Wiese

Hope the weather improves...

Saw it was on TV - saw weather forecast - decided to make other arrangements.

Currently in my office 10 minutes from the ground and it’s not looking promising! So dark and miserable. They do have great drainage there though. Think I’m still going to chance it unless they abandon before.

Fed up with trains. Sick of the rain.
No Jofra, no van Zyl, no Carey, no Jordan, no Garton.

Brown, who is not a white ball cricketer, will have to keep wicket as there's no one else.

If the pitch is damp, Mills won't be risked in case he slips and hurts himself.

Oh, and Mills and Luke Wright have been drafted by teams in the 'Euro T20 slam' which runs from 30 August to 22 September which impacts our last group game plus QF/SF/Final.

Just Great.,,,:annoyed::annoyed::annoyed::annoyed:

Escape from Southampton with a point looks a fair crack at the moment

Looks like a good result for the Sharks then, one point each.

Regarding the Brown situation, letting Burgess go was criminal. Should have been selected as a batter in the county championship. He scored runs in D1 last week!

20:15 start for a 14 over per side game, even our batsmen should make it to 14 overs...

Oh arse ! that's now a certain one point thrown away.

Ridiculous if you ask me. Hosted by Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands. 6 franchise teams. Shahid Afridi, Martin Guptill, Rashid Khan, Brendon McCullum, Eoin Morgan and Shane Watson were announced as the six icon players. Babar Azam, JP Duminy, Chris Lynn, Luke Ronchi, Dale Steyn and Imran Tahir were announced as the six marquee players. Not happy this is clashing with the Vitality blast. Sussex lose Rashid, Wright and Mills if we go deep in this competition.

Sussex won the toss. Sussex to bowl until rain stops play for the evening.

This needs to stop, surely.

The ICC needs to step in and say enough.

It’s going to turn people off cricket - why would you buy tickets for the later Sussex games? Why did Sussex agree to it?
