Sadly a friend from primary school died aged about 10 from accidentally drinking some of the contents of a chemistry set having grown a "crystal garden" and mistaking it for a drink in the night. Was so sad. I think it was not long before they were stopped being sold

When I started work in the City in the early 90s, the bank I worked for had a subsidised bar open to all staff on the lower ground floor next to the canteen. It was absolutely packed every day.

Hard to imagine now.....

Take out the lighbulbs in the first class compartments of trains

Get special trains home from away games without having to book 18 different split tickets three months in advance, pray Sky don't change it and organise the whole thing on whatsapp.
