Why include Benteke in your list and exclude Ryan and Pocognoli?

Ryan played a few games on loan for them.
Indeed, not a real Genk find. Good chap, thanks to him we have Vukovic now he's a solid goalie as well and a really nice guy.
Benteke flopped since Liverpool, but he was impressive with Aston Villa and our national team.
We still have some other good players that could make it on a higher level.
Maehle (right wing back with an impressive stamina and good technique very offensive)
Heynen quick thinking good passing very useful under the radar kind of player
Lucumi next center back on our list that could go all the way. Made the national team and in Colombia they think he could become a starter
Left footed, fast powerful. We just transfered Cuesta who is captain of the Colombian U20 he's a right footed center back.
Our striker Samatta is a fantastic guy and a good player. Dreams of England hope he stays.
Ito is our latest revelation fast technical and smart player on loan with an option. Looking forward what he can do in the Champions league.

Transfer reporting always delights.
So Albion have made an "enquiry" but not a bid.
And it doesn't matter anyway because "unlikely to happen" because presumably the 29th richest club in the world aren't big enough for Berge
so why did Albion make the enquiry anyway if they know that, and if they don't , why do Sky know that but not our recruitment team of 1000s.
