Not necessarily, we still have plenty of chances to cock up.

We'll see but that and the Ross Taylor decision could make the South African umpire the cricket equivalent of the Russian linesman.

Commentators already setting the scene by making out NZ bowlers are the best ever.

I hope Boycott and Brearley get a MOVE ON this TIME.

I was at that Final in 1979.

God, it was frustrating. Boycott in particular showed NO understanding that to win a limited over match it is necessary to actually score some runs.

He remains a tosser to this day.

This Kiwi commentator is getting a bit carried away here. Boult swings one wide down the legside and he acts like it was unplayable.

Boycott only ever played for Boycott

Yes. And chasing nearly 300, he scored 50 odd of over 100 balls.

Brearley was just as slow, but his was more due to an inability to hit the ball.

They put on 129 for the first wicket, but used up so much time that there was zero chance of an England victory, and the rest collapsed.

Didn't we fail to get a bleedin' obvious LBW when we bowled too ?

The tinny music in between overs is getting on my tits. No need.

I remember Clive a Lloyd dropping a sitter to keep them in - I can’t remember him ever dropping another catch
