Transfermarkt data is uploaded by fans of clubs (I've mentioned before on here, I had someone keep asking me questions on twitter a couple of years ago; turns out they were one of the people - perhaps the only one? - who was updating the Albion info).

I would treat Transfermarkt data with a large pinch of salt.

That must of been Nathan Elder who played that game? It is a bit like Wikipedia, on the large correct but will always be mistakes. On the whole though, is a very useful database.

I definitely know where the most concrete information lies!
