Reading back where they belong would be superb. Tin pot clown outfit.

Seeing they'd dropped into the relegation zone really was the icing on Saturday's football cake.

With Morecambe replacing Stevenage as the bottom club in the Football League after losing to them, you'd think longest serving manager Jim Bentley's job would be under threat.

  • GP was appointed 10 years ago and has just got to the top of the list in a parallel universe somewhere.
  • Back in this universe, GP is up to 62nd after less than 6 months in charge.
  • One year's service gets you up to 42nd (Paul Lambert)
  • Three and a half years gets you into the top 10

Thanks love seeing this list. So interesting, but amazing to see a manager appointed so recently already so high. Modern football really is nonsense isn't it.

Up to 56th. (grimsby also parted company with their manager a few days ago). Leyton Orient binned off their manager the day before that, but they were already below us.

I assume he's up to 55th with Pochettino leaving Spurs, or had you factored that in?

No, I factored Poch going in. He was the reason I revisited the thread, and as I was typing the post it was the big news and I didn't think I needed to note it, then I double checked and saw we missed the Grimsby change. In my head everyone was picking up on the 58 to 56, that it's obviously Poch and then also Grimsby, but in the cold light of the following morning I realise even if it was obvious last night, with his sacking being the hot news item, anyone coming to the thread later wouldn't pick up, so I should have still noted it was Poch + grimsby for the ranking change.

Apologies for the lack of clarity.

Still at 56.

For now.

54 - Crawley manager leaves by mutal consent.

Gabriele Cioffi has today left his position as Head Coach by mutual consent.

The club would like to thank Gabriele for his services to Crawley Town and we wish him all the best for the future.

Genuinely mad that someone appointed this summer is now half way up the table (more or less)
