Is the reason MacAllister isn't included is due to the fact he hasn't got the permit yet? Or are you classing him as a u23 player (which for £10m I would think he is first team?)

Only because his paperwork hasn't come through and the talk was of another loan, this time to Boca Juniors. And he is U21 so wouldn't be named anyway.

We can name 17 non HGP's so at least 8.

I cannot help but feel we have too many CB's so am expecting some movement there unless Potter has a reputation for 3 CB's. I'd like to see an attacking midfielder added to the squad soon

Exactly what im hoping for. Hopefully we'll get the Trossard deal across the line, but then a right back, centre mid, and striker still needed.

Looking at the 25 man squad now,if the Greyhound is chosen as a wing back (HIs preference) and Isquiredo is back before Christmas then that’s it ! Unless we sell,or buy under 21s.....

I think Izquierdo is out until next year, so he won't be in the squad.

Which means we can still fit a striker into the 25.

How fit the Greyhound is, we don't know.

And Jayden Bogle, aged 18, wouldn't need to be nominated...

If we are trying to sign Samatta then the earliest Tanzania is out of AFCON is next Monday evening.

If we are trying to sign Bogle then perhaps the Derby Lampard situation needs resolving first.

Not sure we'll get anyone else in before we leave for the Austria training camp.

OMG I agree with you on something... The Greyhound is NOT the answer... that said, I'm reserving judgement on Bogle, although he was at fault in the Championship play-off final 1st goal...

We don't know for sure if Schelotto will be fit - just that it's his target to be.

Neither are really wingers though (in the mould of your beloved and worshipped balsa-legs-Buckley)?

I expect to see Schelotto used as a wing back ( as he is the best we have in the only position he has looked any good playing ) and Ali J as an inside forward. One of Potter’s systems is a 3-5-2; the 5 contains a central box-2-box midfielder flanked by inside forwards and wing backs.

Fair to say we wont have everyone in the squad from last year in this years squad...TH and GM are both aging strikers and only room to have one, as for Locadia? so its been written many time the answer to our striking issues are not in the squad, therefore new speedy/mobile striker a priority.. as well as RB and CM.

Kayal may want more game time as would Balogun, loads can happen once the trading really gets going.
