That's an event that's going downhill quickly.
How many other applicant cities were there?
Possibly Dubai with their indoor ski slope?
The final choice was between Milan and Stockholm.
Sion, Sapporo, Graz and Calgary applied, but dropped out earlier on for financial reasons.
This is fast becoming like the Europop thingy, nobody wants to win it!
