I've just got planning for a kitchen extension, and need drawings (and steel calcs) for building regs.

If you know of anyone decent who can provide that, please let me know.

Recommendations of builders also welcome :)

Thank you :)

Your architect should be able to do this for something as simple as a kitchen extension.

You could try Alistair Dodd Consulting for your building regs. He's very good.
Thanks, I'll take a look.
There aren't many structural engineers who do the regs as well as the calcs, so you may need 2 appointments.
I assumed (probably naively) that those who could offer building regs would generally have a structural engineer who would (or they would recommend to) do the calcs for steels.

For structural I work with Nigel De Silva a lot and he's always reasonable. Pretty sure Alistair has worked with him too.
Thanks, I'll take a look there too.
