One or two utter knobs on here. Defending the bloke for an action that is entirely unwarranted. There is absolutely no way he was concerned for his safety, he was just angry that these people were interrupting the event. It's that simple. His continued actions after he 'realised' it was a small middle-aged woman tells you he is full of shit. It's ultimately not a big deal, but it tells you a lot about someone if they react in this way.
I wonder who the 'real' Mark Field is, the pro-freedom of speech and women's activism chap that posts shit on Twitter, or the ruddy-faced bullshit merchant we see on this video.
I love how having a bit of respect for your fellow human and their rights makes you a snowflake these days. Frankly, I think if you can't be responsible for your own actions then that makes you the snowflake.

Personally If I'd been at that terminally dull evening I'd have relished a bit of a disturbance. Liven the old stiffs up a bit.

Should Bill Archer have got private security to rough up fans that went to his home? Should the club have hired more private security + got the police involved to baton fans protesting at the Goldstone (a private venue) ? What about fans that broke the goals?

I think it's the perfect venue and delivers the correct message. "while you mob of Bullingdon tossers are sitting in your DJ's, congratulating yourselves over toasts and the finest wines, the ****ing earth is dying". The time for these extravagant banquets all paid for by the taxpayer while nurses queue up at food banks ( I know that's not what they were protesting) and Mum's are resorting to survival sex or rent for sex in the 21st ****ing century in one of the wealthiest countries on earth, should be at an end.

Whilst I don't like these self-serving tosspots any more than you do, I have to say that I think 99.99% of the UK population who watched this clip didn't immediately think "wow, yeah - climate change and food banks, that's the message!" - they just saw some dopey looking bird get roughly marched out of a private gathering.
I'm not saying she was wrong to protest, I'm just saying I think she went about it wrongly. Mark Field could have just outstretched his arms and shepherded her out, so he's not in the right either by the way..
