Trivializing domestic violence. Lovely stuff.

PCSO on a moped usually copes round Brum, unless it's a known violent socialist.

Whoops, sorry, slip of the keystroke.Meant to put psychopath.

I'm surprised the Police did not have a copper stood outside his front door already as if someone had got to him it would have been quite a propaganda victory for any number of disaffected groups.
Fair minded human beings for one.

I’m feeling a bit charitable today so I’m going to help you out.

A good and withering put down should seek to directly mock the person and comment, be suitably barbed, have a level of wit and also an element of originality. You could make some little cards with these attributes, maybe put a little box next to each one, and when you next think something up tick off the boxes. I reckon if you have 3 out 4 you should post your response. Until then maybe save us your trite gibberish?

:rotlf: No protection for the next PM?

I wouldn't be so sure TP - I recall watching on Sky News after the 2010 General Election David Cameron's car being surrounded by onlookers in Trafalgar Square on his way to Buckingham Palace as the traffic lights were red. On his way out of the Palace on the way to Downing Street for the first time, he had police outriders and a convoy with the full security detail the goes with being PM - as was pointed out on Sky News at the time - he doesn't get any of that before Her Majesty invites him to form a Government and be her PM. Additionally I don't know what, if any, protection Johnson has as a former Foreign Secretary, but when Amber Rudd resigned as Home Secretary and found herself back on the backbenches she lost her protection offices and had to fend for herself like any other backbench MP.

Apparently the neighbour who reported the incident took audio evidence. which is now in the hands of the Guardian .
Might there be some more revelations pending , which could seriously dent his ambition ?

Todays headlines wont have done him any favours, interesting to see in the coming days what effect if any it has.

Firstly what law was broken? Were you in the room?

Couple have row...shocker.

Your last point rather contradicts itself.

Just for the record I really hope Boris doesn't get near to becoming PM but fear he will.

....and the first paper they run too? The guardian! Hmmmm.

" I think he honestly believes it is churlish of us not to regard him as an exception, one who should be free of the network of obligation which binds everyone else ".

Johnson"s Eton housemaster , Martin Hammond, in 1982 school report.

And there you have it ......

He had a row. That's all we know. So many people on here obviously never had a row. Police were probably only called because of who he is. No accusations of violence or physical abuse as far as I can see. People need to get a life. Same with the fusion guy. He done wrong, admits and gets a ban. End of story. IMHO.

I am not a fan of Boris before anyone asks.

Not sure the Guardian would really prefer Hunt? They've moaned about him for years as well - so there's no bias here in the race to be PM. Maybe an anti-Tory agenda, but that's not what this is about at the moment.

However, noticeable that the Guardian didn't even lead with it as their main story on the front page today, unlike all the more right-wing papers.
