While arguing about my right to not be killed to death, on the roads, I've been watching The Bourne Ultimatum (for the squilenth time), hence the question.

It's gotta be pretty impressive to beat this little beauty.

Glory - American Civil War film with Denzil Washington, Mathew Broderick and Morgan Freeman. Last 20 twenty minutes is an absolute emotional rollercoaster and if you can get through it with dry eyes you are a better person than me.

We'll always have Paris

Better hurry you'll miss that plane
Well, I was right you are a sentimentalist
Louis I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship
etc

Boring answer but I'm afraid this is it.

Why didn't he swim after he entered the water? What was the purpose (other than to make the audience wonder) of pretending to be dead?

10 story jump.
Into the East River.
In winter.
At night.

And you expect Jason to instantly be Duncan Goodhew even with a fair few guns now trained on his entry point.

When the shite hits the fan you'd be Paddy Constantine, I on the other hand, would live well into an ill-conceived fourth film.

No, I simply expect Jason (ultimate bad-ass) to remain conscious.

A couple of weeks ago Elis James and Jon Robins 'performed' their 5 favourite films for Kermode and Mayo (T'is a 5Live thing).

They each produced a fairly wee-wee poor selection.
I had a moment of 'I could do better' so set about procrastinating, sorry I mean thinking, (I always get those two mixed up) about my list.

I came to the conclusion it needs to have a 'Bond'.
I deliberated through the entire back catalogue and came to the conclusion the Bond film my list needs is:-

The Bourne Identity, or Supremacy or Ultimatum - Not bothered which!

A film trilogy ruined by going back to the well. once too often.
I fear that won't be the last time that gets mentioned this summer.

The Exorcist springs to mind along with probably a lesser known film called , The Mist , in itself the Mist is your run of the mill gory creature fare until the ending , it made my stomach turn , perhaps it was just me but i had a sense that those in the cinema leaving after the film had the same WTF feeling , well worth a watch for the ending itself .
