[Sussex] London to Brighton bike ride - crossing the route?

Hello all.

Does anyone know if I'll be able to drive across the bike ride route tomorrow - are there any crossing points on the closed roads? Ideally somewhere between Haywards Heath and Copthorne.

I can't find anything from Googling, even for previous years' events...

Isn't the A272 your friend here, sure it's below HH but it'll be the easiest route.

I think that they hold up the bikes at the roundabout at the end of South Rd and Rocky Lane in Haywards Heath to allow traffic to cross over every so often.
