I see Norwich have capped all tickets at £30 this season. Considering they always seem to sell their ground out that is a great move by them.

For all you season ticket holders, how would you feel if they charged cash to become an away member as well? That's what Norwich have done.

Meanwhile we charged fans £15 to enter a free venue.

That’s not entirely fair. Entry got you a token for a drink (£6), plus the place was decked out with Albion banners etc, had a stage where interviews with ex players, TB, the team after the game etc...

Your approach is a bit like saying that entry to a muddy field in Worthy Farm at the end of June costs a couple of hundred quid for a long weekend.

Details of the tickets here https://www.canaries.co.uk/News/2019/june/club-announces-new-memberships-for-the-2019-20-season/

Wonder how Albion fans would feel if season ticket holders woke up to find that that the points system was abolished and you had now to pay £50 to be a "Premier" member or £35 to be a "Standard" member to have the first chance to buy away tickets with season ticket holders being a long way down the queue.

The problem with our points system is that by 2050 all our away support will be octogenarians who won’t be let in with sticks and flasks.

At £50 membership and £30 tickets it would benefit anyone watching over 5 games a season, maybe they have worked out many watch a couple of games only and this would persuade them to watch more?

A lot are still *lifetime members* of the AWS anyway.

The other clubs who took the venue didn’t charge their fans

From what I’ve been told, the other clubs didn’t spend anything like what the Albion did in decking it out, didn’t give a drink token, and all the other stuff either...

The drinks token was only for the first X people. Our group didn't get them, for example.

(I'm not disagreeing with your general point, just correcting this aspect of it)
