700 is the best bet, hop off near The Gather Inn (I think) and go down the service road, it’s along there.
Quite a walk from there unless you want to stop off at the nudist beach to work up an appetite! Alternatively stay on the 700 and walk over the lock gates at Southwick.

      This ...

I don't have a "Full English" often and when I do it's a Veggie one but there's nothing worse than taking the calorie hit and it turns out crap. I now tend to go where I know it's good and be selective on the ingredients i.e. perfect Veggie breakfast is:

      Veggie Sausage x 2
      Bubble
      Egg x 2 (poached)
      Beans
      Mushrooms
      Fresh Grilled Toms
      Toast x 2
I thought this was about a real breakfast, there must be another link for Veggies

Bills in Brighton (or Lewes, at a push).for me
Bills breakfast is so over priced and over rated. Last one I had came with two tiny excuses for sausages which is just not on for a breakfast.

Not in Brighton can highly recommend The Orchard Café in High Street Worthing (just down from Waitrose). Great full English but also their American Pancakes with egg, bacon and sausage will fill you up for the day. They use really good quality bacon and a very tasty breakfast sausage.

Station Cafe in Portslade (curiously enough, opposite the station - south side)

For those requiring a potato product with their breakfast they have a choice of chippies, saute, fried, hash browns or bubble.

Sausage upgrade from a Booker banger to a proper butchers Cumberland.

Also do roasts & specials at reasonable prices.
Wheelies on Victoria Road also give them a run for their money.

I knew a successful cafe owner who once told me three things that make a breakfast must have is good tea, bacon and sausages the rest can be cheap supermarkets own.
For me the eggs are just as important, I like really eggy eggs, the ones you can still taste hours after you have finished your breakfast.

It was my local until 2001 when I first moved abroad. We used to have a flat near the Lion and Lobster. Great breakfast back in the day, proper old school and if we'd got really messed up in the L&L we used to get an egg and bacon sarnie to take away as it was a 2 min walk from the flat. Owned by an Irish Brighton fan called Larry who'd always have a chat about the football and racing. Not sure if it's changed hands in the 17 years since I last went in but good to know it's still called Belchers.
I've been in quite a few times in the last 5/6 years & it's always been the same pleasant woman who seems to be doing everything. No complaints with the breakfast.

The place across the road from Morrisons on St James St does a decent breakfast as well.

I suppose it is actually. I’ve only ever driven there so hard to judge walking distance.

Go in there before away games occasionally, it's great for the price.

Thought Hixon Green would be chavvy but it's well good.

Went to Carats a couple of weeks back, thought it was average and well overpriced for the quality.
