[Help] "non-standard" funeral attire

I went to a mates funeral some years ago, he was an Albion fan. We were asked to wear Albion shirts. It was a great site to see everyone like that and Kev's family were so pleased to see everyone decked out.

Honestly, jeans and trainers are expected. As Tyrone and Wilko say, the main thing is you're there.

Thanks all for the kind words and the advice.

Going to go with dark jeans and trainers, makes most sense.

Firstly, sorry to hear that news

Secondly - I would check in with some others that are going. A friend of mine was in a similar situation a couple of weeks back and it was expected to be suit trousers and shoes with Aston Villa shirts. I think theirs was due to some of the family not being football fans and therefore wanting some degree of formal attire

Sad news. Nothing to add re attire, but I hope they'll be playing GOSBTS. I will request it at my funeral.
