I know there is a large and loyal following for BGT on this board.

Another set of incredible semi finals over and now we have the grand finale tonight. As Simon Cowell said the standard of each of the semis was so high they each could have been finals in their own right the public had an incredibly tough decision but have whittled it down to 11 finalists, and this could be the most open final ever, all 11 will feel they have a chance of winning it.

The finalists are:

Dave & Finn-Dog Handler Mentalist
Flakefleet Primary School-Choir
4MG-Boyband of Close-up Magicians
Siobhan Phillips-Comic Pianist & Singer
Colin Thackery-Singer
Kojo Anim-Stand-up Comedian
Ben Hart-Magician
Mark McMullan-Opera Singer
X-Mentalist
Jonathan Goodwin-Escape Artist
Libby & Charlie-Incredible dancers

Do you have latest odd on those, Crodo? All competitions are better when there's money involved. So I have been told.

The other day, after his performance Simon predicted the tambourine guy would WIN bgt. Very bizarre, as it wasn't a good act and didn't make top 3 in his semi final

The quality that night was phenomenal though, he was first one and got a standing ovation from the judges and the 2,000 strong audience.

Had to sit through some of this the other night, some asexual thing in a cloak wearing a Guido Fawkes type mask telling Ant and Dec to sit down and stand up for no obvious reason and also noticed an awful middle aged woman trying to tell gags …. I won't be watching tonight, it probably goes on to 4am

Dave & Finn absolutely spellbinding. Majestic start to the night, they really bought their A game.

A disappointing performance from Flakefleet Primary sees them drift to 40/1.

Libby and Charlie have made themselves major contenders, ‘absolutely brilliant ‘ according to Cowell and ‘perfect winners’ according to Dixon.
