Just saw that he's been killed in a car accident. Very sad if true. Excellent player for Seville and Arsenal and seemed like a good lad.

RIP.

Jose Reyes (ex Arsenal) has passed away, age just 35

I remember him as a gifted wide player.

Part of that invincibles team which for me is still the best I've seen in English football. Was very young then as well. Didn't realise until this news that he was still only 35.

Life can be a right ****.

Can't be too many players who've played regularly on loan to Real Madrid from an English side

Saw his debut for Arsenal on Sunday 1st February 2004.

He was very highly-rated and when he came on, Highbury gave him a tremendous welcome. What a team he came into attacking-wise - Bergkamp, Ljungberg, Pires, Vieira, Henry etc. He never really settled as he found the weather and conditions difficult but still showed some real talent.

RIP Jose.
