Another WC and the usual England performance already, lots of people being fooled by the favourites tag

Obviously haven't been paying attention to the England football team, and are carrying on with our fine and noble tradition of being dogshit in tournaments after looking like world beaters outside of them.

Surprised to hear Aggers is on TMS this morning, thought the BBC might leave him " resting " for a while after recent events ?

Bit more like it now, ticking along nicely.

What's a good one day score nowadays?

The way batsmen destroy bowling attacks these days, it is very hard to say!

Anything under 300 is likely to be short. There is little doubt that teams will chase down 350+ to win in some of the matches... so who knows what is 'enough' ??

England 60-1 (10 overs, RR 6.0)

Roy 28* (25 balls, 4 fours) and Root 31* (34 balls, 4 fours)

Steady as she goes.

And theres 50 for Roy, and Root shouldn't be far behind.

Good to see the team settled down after that early wicket. Steady current runrate of 6 an over gets us to 300, but we will need to push on at some point to get a more defendable score
