The replacement British number one for Tiger Tim and Andy Murray is through in a tough five setter

A question for our resident NSC tennis experts, is he going to be a decent replacement or the new Buster Mottram?

I accept I’m old school here and prefer whites for tennis but can I suggest that Kyle has got appalling dress sense. Those black shorts with spots and a hawaian shirt did not go together!

Dont think we are back to the days of going mental when jeremy Bates makes the third round, but we’ve been spoiled for 20-odd years with henman, rusedski and murray.
Despite so much investment the uk is just not capable of producing a conveyer belt of talent.
