A return to reality ? I would not hold out any hope of us winning the World Cup this time around, we have crumbled too often and no team will fear playing us. Australia and India are certainly the best two teams in the world currently and we can only hang on to their coat tails.

To be honest they still have what it takes if you just add a little game management.
They’ve been very successful at an attacking brand of cricket... which is fine to a point.
Twice in this tournament they’ve been guilty of blindly going down that route when just managing the situation and accumulating runs was the way forward. Today I believe we were simply outplayed by a team in form.... but the two previous defeats were completely avoidable if we had been clever.
Big test from here ..... one win will probably still be enough and we have enough talent to progress ... whether or not we have the ability to change the game plan who knows.

England were terrible today, hopefully that will be a wake up call. Out batted, bowled and fielded by the cheats.
