That was great. If the scoring team were kind they would let him have a goal at their end. Then the ref would have scored twice. I wonder if that has ever happened before?

Should be credited to the last player who touched it, the ref is considered a part of the on field equipment, in the same way the frame of the goal is. If it's a shot that hits the ref and goes in the it should be given to the player who shot. If it's a clearance and it hits the ref and goes in then it goes down as an own goal against the player making the clearance.
