Chris Hughton has been appointed as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, he will take up the role on July 1st in time for the new BREXIT meltdown.
Hughton, dismissed by Brighton & Hove Albion on 13th May, was unveiled at Matthew Parker Street this morning.
Said Hughton:
'Once I was shown the infrastructure and facilities of the UK it was an easy decision'.
Hughton was then asked about BREXIT:
'It's a big task, and the fact that we didn't get the result we wanted in the last three votes means added pressure. But I think it was always going to be. When you're up against opposition that is the relegation zone like us it's always going to be a scrap for votes. These are clever opponents and we have to show real fight and team spirit to get things through. But we had a meeting earlier, went through the votes we conceded. I expect very much a reaction from our MPs'.
Asked why he feels things have not gone well before:
'Firstly, it's a very competitive business. You can look at other parties who have been through similar, we probably don't have the strength in depth that they do. There isn't one MP that won't have been through this so we need to work as hard as we can and apply ourselves as hard as we can. If we've still got MPs in the chamber things can happen. We are a battling party fighting with the qualities of this parliament'.
On the EU, Hughton said:
'These are a very good negotiating team. The EU didn't get where it is without having quality in depth. When you play in Brussels it's a hostile environment. You can't go there and expect to get a result easily and we have to pick a team to reflect that. It's about grabbing concessions here and there and trying to pick up votes in parliament'.
Hughton was then asked if he realised that it was the Conservative Party he was leading and not a socialist government.
'I am surprised and disappointed by that' he responded.
He then proceeded to smash the room up.

whoever becomes PM will have problems because Corbyn has no interest in the national situation and is firmly intent on himself and getting a general election.
