[Albion] Did Bruno retire because he knew Hughton would be sacked?

No I don't think so.

He said himself that the reality was he wasn't playing as much as he would like to.
Over the last ten games, he proved he is the best right back at the club, so it wasn't due to performance levels.
Unfortunately age caught up with him.

He clearly didn't want to be a bit part player.
Honourable of the man, I'm sure he could have got another year's prem wages out of the club if he'd wanted to.

No idea if Bruno knew, but seeing Hughtons interview as he walked round the pitch I’m sure he knew or had some kind on inkling, he seemed quite withdrawn and not his normal self.

Doubt he knew.

Now doing a coaching course in Northern Ireland to get his UEFA qualifications.

He has a plan, and my guess is it is with the albion.

Didn’t someone on here quote Bruno as saying that CH “needs to listen to the players more”?

Is there not the possibility that TB might have advised him that a change was coming and it would be unlikely that he would feature in the new man’s plans?

I would be shocked if TB was that unprofessional

No.

He knew his time was up.

I actually thought we were better with him in the team.

That said, age was catching up with him. He’ll probably get one more pay day somewhere and then want to go back to Catalonia. Like Calde, I’d have loved him to have been part of the coaching furniture here, but time moves on.

Bruno’s contract expires on 30 June. Why tell him in advance of Hughton’s dismissal?

It's a simple question. In my mind it is quite realistic.

And the moon landings were faked by JFK's killers in the FBI.
Think you've been watching too many conspiracy thrillers.

He has gone from every game to half of games, he is about to get a telegram from the queen he is so old and, of course, we wanted to bow out before he started playing like a donkey.

Why would it be because Chris left?
