Obviously neither of us know anything, but when dealing with a club that likes to p1ss money around as much as United do, it's very unlikely that we'lll sign him, particularly given that every indication we've had suggests he's of to the United black hole.

It’s the black hole bit that makes me wonder whether the lad James will follow Potter here if the latter does sign up with us...

If we really can't, then United can sign him, and he can have a season-long loan with us to acclimatise him to the PL
If not, Lookman would be a really good addition.

Doing really well at Atalanta, and according to press reports is likely to be moving again this window

Juventus has been linked, and several unnamed premier league clubs are taking interest. Could we be one? There’s historic interest, plus he’s comfortable playing numerous attacking positions…

Plays for Nigeria now so off to AFCON presumably. Wouldn't solve our immediate issue if so.
