I just put 'what did the Romanians ever do for us?' into google translator to generate the Latin, for low comedy purposes, then checked the result by translating it back into English. This is what I got:

What we do is always in the air moved over us

What the actual ****?

Might be amusing to start a thread of the finest work of Google translator :lolol:

Edit: Perhaps this is how Phil Collins could generate new song titles to revive his moribund career.

Excellent. If you keep putting the result back in to the English-Latin-English, after 4 or 5 iterations, it reaches a steady state of 'for as to what is always moving through the air'

I won't be holding my breath about that cockney wanker coming rahnd my ahrse to sort me aaaht!

Genesis went down hill after he took on the vocals.

This, now, is top drawer.

Preferred Nursery Cryme myself.

And IMHO it wasn't Collins taking over the vocals that was the problem - he sounded remarkably like Gabriel - the problem was losing Gabriel's creativity, imagination and sheer bloody lunacy (Harold the Barrel, The Slippermen, Return of the Giant Hogweed, and even wearing a fox's head with a dress!)

Sadly Arsenal seem keen on him, which likely torpedoes our interest.

Sevilla, Ajax, Anderlecht and Standard Liege also allegedly interested. It would be some coup if we pulled this off. We won’t though, will we?

Edit, just seen that Juan Albion has already mentioned this very early in the thread.

Only 20 so would be a good move if so (and not lost in the DS)

Insofar as something costing seven million quid could be called a bargain, he may well be it.

Would 'join up with Tudor Baluta'? So he's staying in Romania, then? ???

I wonder how much Connelly would currently be worth it he didn't have to spend 6 months being Hughtonised, last season.

Whilst Mr Ever Diminishing Returns hogged all the game time.

His old man was one of the best players I've ever seen. Like Maradona, Messi, Gazza, Ronaldinho he had supreme confidence and I fancy with his guidance his son will handle all that comes with the Premier League, even more so with Andone and Baluta keeping him company.

If that were to come to fruition it might prove to be a bit of a coup
