Blimey, that's a fall from grace.

The footballers will be OK, as always its the 'little guy' who gets hit the hardest. Catering / ground cleanering staff etc..

Very much so, wasn’t it just a few years ago their chairman tried to instigate a no relegation from the Premier League idea?

He did, a very foolish, selfish and short-sighted proposal that happily was given short shrift. But as he's unsurprisingly a) no longer in charge, because he's b) dead, I won't hold that against the current staff, players and fans...

It's rather depressing to read that a local Championship club has donated shopping vouchers but the two Manchester clubs (two of the richest in the world) have seemingly sent diddly-squat.

West is BEST
What a position for the staff to be in. Keeping on attending work and instead of a paycheque you get to queue up for a few bags of food. Hoping that it may get better and you may keep your job and get paid again. Impossible position.
If you resigned would you get benefits? Surely there must be some financial help other than the basics of existence?
