It's an absolute nonsense. All three of those quoted by the OP should be ashamed of themselves. I'm genuinely embarrassed for them.

I would definitely instructing my lawyers against some of the claims made in the press and social media if I was TB. It's highly indicative of today's society that people can just chuck these claims around without any accountability.

No it's not. Managers come and go all the time, and it won't be long before CH gets another club. So no, its not a 'blow to BAME representation' because he is still a professional football manager, who is now doing what every other football manager on planet football does when it goes wrong at a club - find another one.

Bringing race into the sacking of CH is sending the wrong message out. If you sack a black manager your club will be labelled racist. Great job for motivating clubs to take on BAME managers, way to go.

What a joke, so he should have had a job for life eh, regardsless of his performance.
It's a bit like electing to have more women CEO's at companies just because there are not many, regardsless if there is someone else better equiped to do the job, sits back.........

Kick It Out and Troy Townsend fully accept that through its current employment of BAME coaches at senior levels, and the club’s long term engagement with and support for Kick It Out’s various campaigns and events, Brighton & Hove Albion FC has fully demonstrated its commitment to eradicating discrimination of all types, and to consistently providing opportunities for BAME coaches. Nobody at Kick It Out will make any further comment on this matter.
Brighton & Hove Albion do not wish to comment further on this issue.

That has gone very, very close to a full-blown defamation action by the looks of it. The club have nailed it in that release over their long term commitment to Kick It Out's goals and programmes. Fair play, you can't just go out and falsely damage people's reputation in such a public way and get away with it. The wrong link was made. If he'd just said 'It is very sad to see our figurehead lose his job', he'd have been fine.
